Swim America requires each Director to be a Certified Level 2 swim coach through the American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA). Extensive and on-going business and stroke training is required to be an approved site.


Coach Jen Godlewski


An Oak Forest native, Coach Jen has been swimming competitively for over 27 years.

She has been teaching and coaching swimming for over 10 years.

She still holds several team records on the Oak Forest Barracudas age group team, Oak Forest High School swim team, Illinois State University swim team and the TeamOrlando Masters swim program.

Under her coaching, her swim programs have won multiple conference championships and several swimmers have advanced on to compete at the state, regional and college levels.

All Swim America instructors are required to complete extensive standardized training. Each coach has first hand competitive swimming experience and brings their love for the sport to your child.

David Nueman
David has been swimming competitively for 3 years. He is currently a Senior on the Oak Forest High School boys swim team where he is a Team Captain. He has been teaching swim lessons for over 2 years.

Emma Martinus
Emma has been swimming competitively for 7 years. She is currently a Freshman on the Oak Forest High School girls swim team. She is a record holder for the Oak Forest Barracudas. She has been teaching swim lessons for over 2 years.

David Sheehan
David has been swimming competitively for 8 years. He currently is a Junior on the Oak Forest High School boys swim team where he is a Varsity Conference Champion in the 100 yd Butterfly and 200 yd Medley Relay. He has been teaching swim lessons for over 3 years.
